Margery Eagan and Jim Braude, the only man – woman talk team in Boston radio, can be heard daily on 96.9 WTKK, Boston’s Talk Evolution, from 12n to 3p.
|
Margery, a columnist at the Boston Herald for more than 10 years, and Jim, host of NECN’s Newsnight (for which he was named Boston’s Top Talk Show host in the Phoenix), spar daily on topics in the news – from politics to culture to inanities. When the mic is off, the Jim and Margery sparring continues until the next show begins.
On the first Thursday of each month, Governor Deval Patrick comes by for “Ask the Governor” with Jim and Margery. This show is an exclusive: the only one where the governor answers callers’ questions every month – from casinos to toll hikes to whatever else Bay Staters have on their mind.

Jim likes to remind Margery that he has won an Emmy and an Associated Press award for his work on NECN. Margery likes to remind Jim that she was his guest on both of those award-winning shows.
Margery is a native of Fall River and graduate of Stanford University. She lives in Brookline.
Jim, a University of Pennsylvania graduate, received his law degree from New York University. He briefly ran for governor in 1994, then recently served as a Cambridge City Councilor, retiring undefeated after one legendary (Jim wrote that word) term.
